During the day, the Sawtooth range provides a multitude of possibilities for memorable landscapes. Redfish Lake and Stanley, Idaho provide the setting for this photographic journey.

Rising from the valley floor, the Sawtooth range scrapes the sky with its craggy, jagged peaks. Here you will rediscover the artist, the poet, and perhaps the adventurer within you that finds oneself beckoned to grasp the indescribable majestic presence of a land full of memory.

Exploring the surrounding landscapes held together by mountain, rivers and lakes – you’ll come to see why we never tire of returning to Redfish Lake, Stanley, Idaho, the Sawtooth range and the Salmon River that winds through these canyon walls.
Meander down a creek side stream, swollen with brisk mountain water, capturing moment after moment of a beauty that reminds us to slow down and treasure what is right before our eyes. This photo tour is filled with beautiful mountain vistas, capturing the Sawtooths, Stanley Lake, Redfish Lake and Little Redfish.

Logistics

Please arrive in Stanley, Idaho and find us at the Triangle C Cabins at the end of town.
Check in is at 4pm on Monday
September 30, 2026.
We will have a meet and greet following check in.
Lodging is included in the workshop fee.
Meals are not included.
You may bring your own food, if necessary, as there are refrigerators and appliances for cooking in both of the lodge buildings.
However, we will be going out to eat breakfasts at Stanley Baking Company most mornings.
We will also have dinner in Stanley most evenings.
Most of our photography locations are just off of the road or with short walks down by the creeks or around the beach areas of the lakes.
The above itinerary may change due to weather or as conditions render one location to be better for shooting at any given time, so please be flexible with our locations as we adapt to the lighting conditions available.
Additional Notes
Participants Need to be able to hike at least a 1/2 mile in dirt or sand.
Though not difficult, participants will need to be able to walk along creekside trails and carry their own gear.
