Photograph the Annual Solar Eclipse: Easy as 1, 2, 3!

Are you ready for it?

October's show-stopper astrological event is the annual solar eclipse, where the moon passes between the earth and the sun, causing a "ring of fire" to appear around the moon's perimeter.

Our Pro photographer, Harold Klein, is joining us from his home in Oregon to help you stay safe, know where to get the filters you need, and what settings to use to capture this natural phenomenon.

Check out his video below and let us know if you went out to photograph the eclipse. Make sure to share your images with us and our online community over on our Facebook group, Sharing Your Photography with Perfect Light.

Are you a Nikon user shooting with a mirrorless camera? Make sure to watch this next video from Harold as he explains how to dial in your settings specific to your mirrorless camera.

We hope you found these quick tutorials helpful! If you enjoyed them and would like to see more, let us know in the comments below, and we'll have more headed your way.

Until next time! May you have clear skies and sensors!
